Location
Walk the 2km circuit of Dubrovnik's medieval walls — the most complete in Europe, with stunning views over the Adriatic and Old Town.
A UNESCO-listed medieval city of marble streets, Baroque churches, and Renaissance fountains — entirely car-free and magical.
A forested island just 10 minutes by ferry from the Old Town — peacocks roam freely, and the saltwater lake is perfect for swimming.
Dubrovnik doubled as King's Landing — guided tours visit the Red Keep steps, Blackwater Bay, and the Walk of Shame location.
Paddle around the city walls and sea caves at sunrise — one of the most spectacular kayaking experiences in the Mediterranean.
A 4-minute cable car ride to 412m above the city — the panoramic views over the Old Town and Adriatic are absolutely breathtaking.
Dubrovnik's gleaming limestone main street — lined with cafés, churches, and fountains, it's the social heart of the Old Town.
Three car-free islands — Koločep, Lopud, and Šipan — reachable by ferry for a perfect day of swimming and seafood.

Visit the City Walls first thing in the morning (8am opening) — by 10am the walkway is packed with tour groups and the heat is intense.
Dubrovnik is extremely crowded in July and August — May, June, September, and October offer the same weather with far fewer tourists.
The Dubrovnik Card covers City Walls entry, cable car, and unlimited bus travel — great value for a 3-day visit.
Lokrum Island ferries run every 30 minutes from the Old Town harbour — buy your return ticket on the island, not the mainland.
Eat dinner outside the Old Town walls — restaurants inside charge 30–50% more for the same quality food.
The Game of Thrones filming locations tour is genuinely excellent — even non-fans enjoy the history and architecture context.
